Key Filing Dates

January 29: E-Filing
season start date for individual tax returns.

March 15: Due date to file
or to request an extension for 1065's; 1120's and
1120-S's.

April 15: Due date of
filing a tax return or to request an extension for
most of the nation.

September 15: Due date for
extension filers Partnerships and Corporations.

October 15: Due date for
extension filers for 1040s.

reporting company created or registered to do
business before January 1, 2024, will have until
January 1, 2025, to file its initial BOI report.

reporting company created or registered in 2024 will
have 90 calendar days to file after receiving actual
or public notice that its creation or registration
is effective.

created or registered on or after January 1, 2025,
will have 30 calendar days to file after receiving
actual or public notice that its creation or
